Does TurboMail work if I'm offline?
Local AI features work offline against cached mail. If you switch to a cloud model or sync new mail, TurboMail needs an internet connection for that request.

What happens to my email data? β–Ό
Your emails stay on your device β€” always. TurboMail keeps an on-device copy for fast search and offline access. When local AI is selected, email analysis happens on your computer. We do not run servers that read your inbox.
My computer isn't very powerful. Will the AI still work? β–Ό
Yes. TurboMail can recommend a lighter local AI setup for older computers, and you can switch to a cloud model when you want more power.
Does it work with Google Workspace / Microsoft 365 accounts? β–Ό
Yes. TurboMail supports personal and work mailboxes. Some company accounts may require approval from your workplace administrator before connecting a new desktop email client.
How much disk space does TurboMail need? β–Ό
The desktop app is lightweight. Local AI options are downloaded separately only if you choose to use them, and you can change or remove them anytime.
Can I use TurboMail without setting up an AI model? β–Ό
Yes. TurboMail works as a regular email client without AI. Syncing, reading, composing, sending, calendar, and core features work independently. You can add AI later from settings.
